Rachel, I love that you quote Henri Nouwen! I had the honor/pleasure of meeting him at Daybreak in Toronto long ago and love to be reminded of him. Thanks for sharing his message of hope.
Henri Nouwen is one of my spiritual mentors, though I have never met him in person. Wonderful that you had the opportunity! So much to still discover about you, Kelly. ( : How are you and Caroline enjoying Anne with an “e”?
We are on to Anne of Avonlea and still enjoying! Your recent posts have been beautiful 🙂

It is said, “Man only has one real possession and that is hope.” When all hope is gone all else is gone and this is why, we have called our God, “The God of ALL Hope.” He alone is the sum and substance of all hope.
This is so poignant, Rachel. I love the image of God holding my hand. I always think of myself as being in His shirt pocket–I’m not sure why, but it seems like a great place to be.
You possess a beautiful soul and I’m so glad that we have been able to reconnect. xoxo
